Who the Artist Is
Emma Reed is a young and aspiring photographer located in Tallahassee (and Jacksonville), Florida. She is a class of 2024 undergraduate studying at Florida State University. In Jacksonville, Emma's work has been published along the walls of local restaurants as well as in the 4th District of Florida's Congressional Art Discovery Contest in 2019 and 2020. Her work has also received Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her portfolio and individual pieces. Emma plans to become a lawyer and specialize in Human Rights and Religious Freedoms. She plans to have her personal photography work reflect the issues of our society that she will encounter throughout her field of work.
Her Line of Work
Emma loves to shoot weddings, senior portraits, family portraits, product photography and lifestyle portraits - primarily anything that creates a body of work for a deep and/or emotional meaning. Aside from her more business side of photography, Emma creates bodies of work for herself. Some of these bodies of work include such as "A Soul of Solitude" where she emphasizes the aura of isolation as well as "D'Italia" which consists of digital, black + white film, and colored film images from her summer traveling adventure in Italy during the summer of '19.
